Competitive Opportunities ๐
All competitive athletes can compete locally, with the chance to advance to Regionals and Nationals both which are out of state.
Milford has proudly competed at the national level many times over the past 12 years, earning:
- 11 National Championship titles
- 1 Global Grand Championship
- 1 JAMZ Grand Championship
Inspiration Team is a program for athletes ages 5โ21 with special needs. It gives children the opportunity to be part of a team, build new skills, and enjoy the experience of learning and growing alongside peers who share similar abilities.
Certified & Experienced Coaching
Our coaches are certified through YCADA (Youth Cheer and Dance Alliance) and regularly participate in coaching clinics.
- Coaches from every competitive roster attend a Coaches Clinic annually.
- Each team roster includes a coach certified in CPR

Practice Information ๐
Location:
West Shore Recreation Center
14 Benham Ave., Milford, CT
Summer Schedule (July 15 โ Labor Day):
- Inspiration Team: 1 hour, once a week
- D6 (youngest team): 1 hour, twice per week
- D8โD14: 8โ10 hours per week
- Practices held between 5:00โ9:00 PM, both indoors and outdoors
Practices may be cancelled or adjusted due to extreme heat or weather conditions. All communication is handled through each teamโs BAND app and email.
Fall Season Schedule ๐
Starting Labor Day weekend, teams begin sideline cheering at football games. Practice time is reduced to 8 hours per week (MondayโSunday), typically:
- 2-hour evening practices and/or
- Saturday morning practices
Each practice includes:
- Warm-up and stretching
- Stunting and tumbling on mats
- Focused work on perfecting competition routines
